"Is everyone being heard? Are meetings effective?"

The role of the Facilitator is to conduct Circle meetings, provide leadership in the decision-making and proposal-shaping process, support listening and mutual understanding, and ensure that the Circle is functioning based on the principles and methods set out in these bylaws and known (largely) as Sociocracy.

Role checklist

• Facilitates circle meetings

• Pays attention to equivalence during meetings (is everyone being supported to participate fully?)

• Leads on planning the agenda

• Can distinguish the 'facilitator' voice from their own participation as a Full Circle Participant
